Breaking the Barriers of Growth

Breaking the Barriers of Growth

The starting point of the research project is the idea that the weak performance of the Finnish economy is not primarily due to a lack of ideas, but rather to the fact that ideas, expertise, capabilities and value chains are not organized, transferred and scaled sufficiently agilely. The project’s work packages follow the chain of growth impacts from the birth of an idea to the scaling of companies and the preservation of value during shocks.

The work packages form a common measurement and evaluation toolkit for growth policy: new indicators and policy recommendations to increase innovation, labor mobility, scaling, resilience and leadership capabilities.
