The aim of this research project is to quickly and flexibly produce research-based background papers, fact sheets and short reports to support the preparation of the Government Programme. The core idea of the project is to ensure that decision-makers, drafters and negotiators have access to sufficient information to ensure the success of business in situations where the usual research and investigation process would be too slow.
The project’s outputs are primarily aimed at the drafters of the Government Programme and parties participating in the negotiations but they can also be used to make more widely available publications that strengthen the knowledge base of the economic policy debate, where appropriate.
