This project examines public-sector wage formation in different European countries.
Wage formation in the public sector is an important theme in all European countries because earnings development in the public sector directly affects the financial position of the public sector and indirectly affects the competitiveness of the private sector. Wage formation in the public sector is organized in different ways in different European countries. However, in all countries, the goal is the same: to prevent excessive wage inflation in the public sector.
