# Report on the National Implementation of EU Data Regulation – Market Insights and the Need for Supervision

This research project analyzes the activities and extent of compliance with the data regulation in Finland. The project utilizes registry data from Statistics Finland.

The scope of companies’ business activities is measured by turnover, value added, and the value of data assets. A cost-based approach is used to assess the value of data assets for companies falling within the scope of the data regulation.

The final outcome of the project will present an assessment of the extent of business activities compliant with the data regulation by industry and by company size.
