Using data from the Community Innovation Survey (CIS), we analyze Finnish-owned and foreign-owned firms operating in Finland. Our findings suggest a positive relationship between in-house R&D and innovation outcomes. However, the relationship between innovation cooperation and innovation outcomes appears more complex and varies by the type of cooperation.
