The board of ETLA Supporters’ Association is chaired by Jorma Ollila.
Vesa Vihriälä, ETLA’s Managing Director as of March 1st, 2012, has the overall responsibility for the institutes’ four research programs and administration.
Research programs conduct research projects for example in areas of technology and industrial competitiveness and the role of Finland in the EU. The staff of the research programs include Research Directors Rita Asplund, Markku Kotilainen, Mika Maliranta and Tarmo Valkonen as well as Heads of Unit Antti Kauhanen, Heli Koski and Terttu Luukkonen and a group of researchers.
Annexed to one of the research programs, the forecasting group monitors, forecasts and reports economic development.
Distinguished outside researchers participating in research projects have been co-opted as ETLA Senior Fellows.
The administration consists of the personnel of the office and the information services, as well as the staff responsible for creating the statistics and graphs needed in the various projects and publications. The head of administration is Markku Lammi.
ETLA has two subsidiaries, Etlatieto Oy and Taloustieto Oy. The Managing Director of Etlatieto Oy is Petri Rouvinen. Taloustieto Oy is managed by Managing Director Markku Lammi.
