Biotekniikan ennakointi -projektin tavoitteena on ollut selvittää bioteknologian muuntumista kaupalliseksi tuotannoksi sekä esittää sen pohjalta suosituksia kehittää koulutusjärjestelmää kaupallisen tuotannon edistämiseksi vuoteen 2020 asti.
